BABY, DELIVERY, HOSPITAL STAY

I received an invitation to a baby shower for a good friend, but had no idea what to get her and the baby.  She comes from a large family, and I knew that they would shower her with tons of gifts.

So I decided to put together a hospital stay basket.  I printed off the Hospital Stay checklist and started putting together a basket of items she would need.  I included a receiving blanket, baby name book, disposable camera, hair clip, a favorite music CD, lip balm, lotion, soft socks, magazine for new moms, small portable phone book and hard candy.  I checked these items off on the checklist and placed the checklist in a protector sleeve.  She was thrilled with the gift and later told me that having this checklist took away some of the anxiety of getting ready for the big day.
