BE SAFE - DON’T BE A VICTIM CHECKLIST

Many years ago, I was the victim of an attempted purse snatching. I had just come out of a drycleaners carrying a large amount of clothing when the incident occurred. Fortunately I did not get hurt and I did not lose my purse. In looking back I realized that I was not paying attention to my surroundings and that I probably looked like an easy target with my arms loaded with clothing. This checklist was written as a reminder of the things to do to lessen the possibility that I would ever be a victim again.
