You’re getting ready to move into your first place. And one
thing you know for sure is you’re going to have to eat. Sure, you can gather
all the local take-out menus, but at some point, you’re going to need a
pan or a plate or even a wine glass. Maybe you’re getting married and
want to add kitchen items to a bridal registry. Perhaps you’re looking
forward to finally shopping in that great kitchen store down the street.
The thing is, you’re on your own for the first time and haven’t a clue
what you need. There are tons of wonderful kitchen gadgets, electronics
and tools available, but right now you just want the basics. Use this
checklist to get you started. And nothing says you can’t treat yourself
to something special while you’re at it, so we’ve left some blank
spaces at the bottom of the form for that cappuccino machine, kitchen
center and tart pan.
