We are fortunate to live in an area that not only promotes recycling,
but also makes it easy to recycle many products. In addition, there are numerous
household hazardous waste disposal centers throughout our area offering convenience in
disposing of these items. This checklist has two categories. One lists the many items
that may be recyclable in your area. The other lists household hazardous waste items
that should be disposed of properly. Check with your local waste disposal office to see
which items are included in its programs, check them off on this checklist and post it
where everyone in the family can see it.
