HIRING A HOME INSPECTOR

There are many reasons you may wish to conduct a home inspection on your property. You may be getting ready to sell your home and want to show potential buyers that a thorough inspection has been completed.  Your home may be at an age that requires some updates and a home inspection may help in determining and designing changes.  You are experiencing problems such as roof leaks, cracking walls or drainage problems.

An inspection could steer you in the correct direction to complete repairs.  If you’re experienced in this field, you may wish to take on the inspection task yourself.  You can also contact a qualified home inspector or contractor in your area.  If you are hiring a qualified person to conduct an inspection on your property, the following checklist can be used as a helpful list of items you may wish to consider.
