I asked my husband to help write the story for this checklist since he was the mastermind behind the items that appear here.  He said, “there is no story; things break and you fix them.”    Actually in an apartment most of the items are repaired by the maintenance staff, but you still have to level and hang those pictures, repair furniture and pull your children’s baby teeth (well my parents did this with a needle nose pliers).  And, of course, you need to measure the room before you buy the furniture and fix your eyeglasses so you can see the price of that couch.  It costs how much!?
