We arrived at the campsite
All covered with sand
Unloaded the pick-up
With a checklist in hand

The tent it went up
In the flash of an eye
Firewood was cut
With the sound of a sigh

We unloaded the food
Drink and the chairs
Then wriggled our toes
In the sand with great care

The waves washed ashore
At the foot of our camp
All this fresh air
With stars as our lamp

The tools that we brought
Were quite handy indeed
This was the greatest
We all quite agreed
